Info: This is Donut. Donut is a chill dude. Asahina is ridiculous amounts of fond of her starter and prefers to keep him out and about with her rather than in his pokeball. Because he likes to take his sweet time getting places, however, she ends up having to carry him around like a sack of potatoes a lot. His name comes from his pink coloring, which reminded Asahina of the strawberry icing on donuts (and no one was surprised).

Info: Aoi came as a big surprise for Asahina. One, because she had only been in Johto a day when Leon vanished so she hadn't even seen him yet and two, he named a pokemon after her which is admittedly kind of sweet. But it's going to take some getting used to in calling the pokemon by her first name and it not seeming weird. Aoi does miss her old team, especially Mari, but she quickly adjusted to her new trainer and the two get along splendidly.
Info: Asahina recieved Eclair's egg for her Newbie Deal. She was unfortunately out of the house when the egg hatched and when she came back Eclair had managed to wiggle her way behind refridgerator and needed to be rescued by her trainer. Despite this semi-traumatizing first experience, Eclair has a ridiculous fondness for tight spaces and squeezing into them. This has led to an exasperated Asahina keeping her in her pokeball more than her other pokemon or constantly babysitting her when she's out of it.

Info: Asahina encountered this Poliwrath on the second day of prom weekend at Tohjo Falls by the falls. The battle to catch her was difficult but in the end Asahina won and decided she would be an excellent addition to her team. She's named after her trainer's best friend, due to the fierce spirit she showed in battle.
